Still On the Fence?

Just a few years back, the buyer or seller objections in the market were likely related to limited inventory, or losing in a multiple-offer scenario. While this presented its own set of challenges then, today inventory is plentiful, the market has adjusted and interest rates are still very low. This being said, objections are a big piece of the puzzle which requiring satisfying. Oftentimes an objection is the only thing standing between you and your real estate dreams.

On average, objections are just smokescreens for our fears or concerns. Instead of voicing them, we throw up a smokescreen as a way to get time to think. Frequently when making a big decision, we are committing to something and that can make us nervous and/or defensive. My experience has taught me if there’s one thing that can make my clients nervous, it’s buying or selling a home!

The most effective way I can assist is when you share these concerns with me. A large part of my job is to assist with isolating what is causing these fear or concerns and then work together toward a win/win solution. Remember, this is not a sword fight. My ultimate roll as your real estate broker is YOUR TRUSTED ADVISOR. My mindset is my clients are my greatest asset which grows and grows for years to come, not just to help in their current transaction.

The intent of this blog is a gentle reminder that whenever you encounter objections during the process, voice them to me, as I commit to take a listening approach. And remember; objections are simply a smokescreen for what the real fear is.
